Literature Study: The Wild Robot (Geometric Art & Simple Circuits)
kjI love Peter Browns pictures books (Children Make Horrible Pets!) so we were excited to learn he came out with a childrens novel about technology and the environment. 'The Wild Robot' has had all three big kids mesmerized for the past two weeks, followed by the sequel 'The Wild Robot Escapes'.
hMiss C gave us a tutorial on how to draw robots using 3D cubes. Once we had some practice, we transferred our Bots to pen and ink drawings with coloured oil pastels.

jWe looked up a variety of Make Your Own Bot kits, but had none of the supplies needed. So we turned to circuit science to learn a bit about electric currents.
