C is for Counting Cloves: Garlic

As soon as cooler weather comes to stay-it's time to plant garlic. In the Spring these will be the first green sprouts to show above the straw bed. We'll get two harvests next growing season: scapes and bulbs.

We group them into tens for skip counting, so no one loses count.
