F is for Fudge: Fudge Slice

Fudge Slice

~1c kasha (toasted buckwheat)

~1c dates

~2T cocoa powder (replace with carob to increase calcium and omit caffeine)

Blend to form stiff dough. If too crumbly, add a few more dates or splash of syrup.

Pat firmly into loaf pan lined with parchment.

~1.5c cashews

~2T cocoa

~2T syrup

Blend well. Pat on top of crust. Sprinkle with cocoa and cinnamon. Freeze and slice.
