M is for Milkshake Freakshake (with Tahini Brownies)

 h

When I learned about Freakshakes, I knew my kids would be on board! Basically make your favourite milkshake and stack as many sweets as you can on top!
We made our Nut Butt Smoothies (tahini, oatmilk, cocoa, maple syrup and frozen bananas) and skewered Tahini Brownies on top. To finish, we drizzled melted chocolate that hardened in place as it cooled its way down the cup. Think marshmellows, strawberries, banana spears, whipped/ice cream-it's basically a vertical sundae!

Tahini Brownies

~2 chia eggs (2T chia seed + 4T water)

Allow chia eggs to sit for five minutes. Add to blender with...

~1c tahini

~1/2c sugar (we used monk fruit sugar)

~1/4c maple syrup

Blend well.

Add..

~1/3c cocoa powder

~1T coconut flour

~1/2t baking soda

~1/4t salt

Mix well for smooth brownie throughout. Mix partially if you like a little caramel colouring.

Pat in parchment lined loaf pan.

Bake at 350 for 22-30 minutes.

Top with drizzled chocolate and tahini, if desired.

(You can totally eat these raw as they are vegan and definitely hold their shape.)
