Math Monday: Shibori

 

A little fraction and geometry lesson with amazing artistic outcome. Shibori (Japanese manual dying technique) is traditionally done using indigo dye, but we decided to rainbow the results. Simply take a strong paper napkin and fold it into rectangles or triangles, before dip dying each edge in food colouring or watercolour paint.
