Farmer Boy: Carnival Games, Strawberry Float & Salt & Pepper Popcorn

Just in time for our Fall Fairs, we tried out some of the games from Farmer Boys Harvest Festivals, like Shell & Pea Guess and Ring Toss. While I was debating what sorts of materials we had to make a simple ring toss, the kids were setting up garden stakes and willow wreaths.

We also made some carnival fare like floats and popcorn:

 

 

Strawberry Kombucha Float

~2c frozen strawberries

~2c frozen bananas

Process until smooth to make ice cream.

~1c frozen strawberry

~3c ginger kombucha

Place strawberries in glass jar. Top with kombucha and strawberry ice cream.

Salt & Pepper Popcorn

~popcorn, popped

~coconut oil, melted

~salt & pepper, to taste

~zest and juice of lemon

~nori flakes

Toss altogether. Sprinkle extra nori on top.
