Farmer Boy: Loomwork

 

Mr. M used our Farmer Boy studies to demo some of his weaving work. Great way to keep little hands busy and mind concentrating with patterns: over-under-over-under.

We made this mini loom with a 2x2 post frame and some dowel pegs. The trickiest bit is not pulling so hard the weave gravitates to the center. When choosing your 'weft' threads, make sure they are strong and stable.
