Math Monday: Bushel & A Peck (Farmer Boy)

 

Warming up our week with Farmer Boy math. Many type of measurements that we aren't familiar with came up in the novel: bushel, peck, hogshead. We took the opportunity to discuss each of the measurements in gallons, the idea of volume versus weight as well as liquid versus dry measurements.
