Making Papyrus

Papyrus used to be plentiful until the Egyptians used it for everything from boat-making to paper. They are attempting to reintroduce it along the Nile for it's various uses. We made a version of our own with strips of brown paper and a mixture of glue to water, with a 1:1 ratio.

Layer your strips horizontally on waxed paper, before laying them vertically on top. Allow the paper to dry before drawing.
