Map Monday: Edible Egypt

A yummy way to introduce our Ancient Civilizations Studies: with a marshmallow and rice krispie map! Simply make your rice krispie treats to spread on a cookie sheet and cut away the shape of the country. We added some krispie pyramids of Giza shaped with the base of juice boxes and a Nile river with strips of fruit snacks. Then we used toothpick flags to label several of the cities that line the Nile.
