Hogwarts Cloak
THE Hogwarts Cloak has been a few years in the making (finding the right fabric), but Miss O pulled it all together in time for October festivities. The pattern is courtesy of 'Fleece Fun' and mind for the hood, it was a simple pattern to be completed by an intermediate learner. https://www.fleecefun.com/harry-potter-robe-pattern-free-diy/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=pinterest&utm_campaign=tailwind_tribes&utm_content=tribes&utm_term=1120798468_54632972_475004
For the finished piece, she added super deep pockets and two elastic tabs up her left sleeve to hide her wand. If you follow the pattern, the pockets must be incorporated into the side seams.
The hood was the trickiest bit, but only because she wanted the inner lining to look neat. She ended up sewing the black exterior to the cloak separately and rolling under the red lining before hand stitching on the interior.
