Muscle Model: Biceps & Triceps (Muscular Structure)

 

We took a page from KiwiCo to make these Muscle Models.

The object is to demonstrate how muscles do not push, only pull, by creating a bicep and tricep pulley system. The fact that the supplies were easily found around the house was a total bonus. All you need is:

~full water bottle with zip ties (to hold model steady while using)

~cardboard

~butterfly clasps

~empty sewing bobbins

~string
