Vegan Bites: Calcium-Rich Cookie Dough Bars


Calcium (and chocolate!) rich Cookie Dough Bars. Great big hit to slip into our Bone Studies!

Cookie Dough Bars

~2 2/3c oat flour

~1/4c tahini

~3T maple syrup

~1c dates

~1/2t salt

~chocolate chips, chunks or cacao nibs

~dark chocolate (for melting)

Process oat flour, salt, dates until a dough begins to form. Add tahini and maple syrup. Fold in chocolate chips, chunks or cacao nibs. Pat firmly in a pan lined with parchment. Melt chocolate in double boiler and pour on top. Cool and cut into bars.
