Monster Trucks: Spool Racer

 Our final project was a simple Spool Racer. Originally we saw this in a Science book, but the instructions were a little complicated and involved extra supplies. 

 

Then we learned the name for the project (Wind Up or Spool Racer) and simple instructions showed up all over the internet. We even found Science Max had created his own version and put on a fabulous show about potential and kinetic energy!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRfP-MghXIo
