Landscape (The Hobbit): Landslide Science

 

 In chapter six, 'Out of the Frying Pan into the Fire' Tolkien makes mention of "a wide, steep slope of fallen stone, the remains of a landslide" that the Hobbit and Dwarves encounter on their adventure.

We learned about 15 of the most dangerous landslides, what causes them and how to help prevent them with our mini landslide science.

We did have a few cheaters that used Haldimand clay instead of soil, to improve their chances of keeping their homes intact.
