Pines: Whittling Trees

We were in need of a whittling project to get us outdoors in the muddy weather. These are remarkably similar to the mushrooms the kids whittled recently, so the technique took them no time at all. 

 

In order that they be easily hung, we screwed in a tiny eye screw to attach embroidery thread and beads.
