Indigenous Life: Legend of the Indian Paintbrush

 

Our Legend of the Indian Paintbrush story had art challenges for both the littles and the growing girls. The littles were able to paint a skyscape with broad brushstrokes, after listening the the story by Tomie DePaola. The big kids had to do a little botany research and learn about the other names for the flower before creating a watercolour piece.
