Earth Day: Psuedo Stainglass Earth

Psuedo stainglass was relatively easy and the process was a lot of fun. We took a page from muminthemadhouse.com with simply string, white glue and food colouring.

First, pour out white glue in a paper bowl.
Next, cut lengths of string for each piece of art, that will create the size of circle you are looking to make.
We used plastic lids as the base, so that our dried art would peel off easily. Pull your string through the white glue and shape your circle on the base.
Then spoon or squeeze out a thin layer of glue to cover the center surface of your circle.
Drop blue and green food colouring. The less you swirl, the more concentrate the colours. The more you swirl, the more they mix with white and become pastel.
Allow them to dry for about 24 hours before peeling, and hanging.
