Hummingbird: Lino Prints

It's probably no surprise that I sneak as many hands-on art projects into our life as possible. There are two projects that stand out as all-time favourites of the kids at any age and stage; lino printing and plasticine.

Lino printing is a bit of a process, but once your template is carved, it can be used from now until forever. Since we're studying hummingbirds, we brought out some bird book in order to create sketches.

Once the sketches are transferred onto the lino tile, carved and printed, we number and name chop them.
