Pumpkins: Wax & Watercolour Still Life
Start with some crayons and your model (jack-be-littles, grown by the little brother!)
Sketch the outline of the pumpkin in crayon, adding details such as stem, highlights (using peach or yellow) and other shades you observe.
Once your crayon sketch is complete, add several shades of orange watercolour paint. Dab off excess paint where you would like bright spots. Add some blue/purple watercolour marks for a shadow.
