Blanket-Stitch Bookmarks

 

While the big kids were stitching their grimoires, the littlest kids were learning the blanket stitch for bookmarks. Note to self-always knot your thread outdoors. It was like the literal 'needle in a haystack' saying many times over, but instead, layers of leaves!
