Backyard Birds: Winter Watercolour Garland

 

Starting our Backyard Bird studies with a watercolour winter bird garland. Miss C and I set ourselves a goal of a bird-a-day to sketch and paint to end up with a garland by weeks end.

Miss C loves Robert Bateman so we found some for inspiration (and his extensive expertise!) We had a little helper once in a while, when he was interested in sketching too.
