Earth Study: Warm & Cold Air
We are loving Fun Science Demos lately, with loads of easy experiments you can create in your kitchen. We have kind of an air/water theme going on over here for Earth Studies this April, so this experiment fit the bill perfectly.
All you have to do ahead of time is prepare some blue ice cubes and a bowl of room temperature water.
For the warm, red water, it's best to have a little slow-release sort of container to avoid the mixtures combining before you can observe the reaction.
