Earth Study: Bird Banding

 

This is one of the best and most beloved nature activities out there; bird banding. Our local conservation area is one of Ontarios banding stations, meaning during months of migration, you can join the team as a citizen scientist and capture and band birds alongside the experts. Once they record their findings, they allow participants to release the birds back into the wild.
