Vegan Bites: Lemongrass Basil Sorbet


 

Lemongrass Basil Sorbet

~2c fresh squeezed lemon juice

~1c water

~1c sugar

~pinch turmeric

~1/2c fresh basil leaves

~1/2c fresh lemongrass (smashed white bulb)

Combine sugar, turmeric and water. Use medium high heat until sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat. Steep basil and lemongrass. Strain.

Add lemon juice. Blend well. Cool in fridge before churning in freezer.
