For Remembrance Day, we dipped back into the art of batik by creating oil pastel poppies, covering them with black ink and washing away the ink to leave the dark residue in the spaces.
This is such a simple art project and has beautiful results. My favourite kind of project!
You can take this a step further by crumpling the paper to create a vintage effect.
