Movement & Forces: Fall Pinwheel (AIR)

 

A beautiful Autumn activity fit snugly into our Movement & Force science study. Gather a handful of large, pliable leaves. Cut a square and diagonal lines from each corner towards the center. Twist one of each corner into the center and secure with a straight pin or thumbtack. Use a pencil with an eraser to attach the tack. Using a fan, or by blowing air, see how to get your pinwheel spinning!
