Earth Week: Magical Ink

 

Nature + Art + Science!

Create one solution of water and baking soda. Mix until dissolved (you may like to heat the water, dissolve and cool.)

Create another solution of turmeric powder and rubbing alcohol. Strain through a coffee filter to create a red-tinted clear solution.

Use the baking soda solution to paint a picture. Trade with a friend. Use the filtered turmeric and alcohol to reveal the image!
