Egg-tivities: Papercut Chicken

 

Only two of us were bird-brained enough to attempt this intense Papercut Chicken, but you can recruit help for the process, since creating the feathers is easy, fun and fail-proof-just slap some colour in swashes on paper.

Don't be afraid to use some funky colours for your heritage breeds! We included some pops of purple and blue with our rich hues of red, orange and yellow.

Then cut out various lengths of feather-shapes to choose from when it comes time to pasting.

Trace a chicken profile and cut out as your base. Paste your feathers from bottom up and detail your little fowl face with pencil crayons and more papercut.
