India: Rangoli

 

There were countless art activities for the study of India and Rangoli could not be left out. Though it was one of the more difficult ones to pull off.

Traditionally, colourful dried flowers are ground into powder to produce beautiful shades.  However, it's been a long winter! We're fresh out of flowers! We decided to attempt this with white and coloured chalk powders.
