India: Tigers (with friends)
{ohhh! I love a birds eye version of an artsy tabletop!}
Every other Wednesday, we get to collaborate in our art activities with a lovely fellow artist and friend. Sometimes just two of them saddle up the the table for the theme of the day, but other times we can get all hands on deck (and that totally depends on the supplies at hand!)
We tracked back a bit to an old Tiger Art project that was well received and has incredible results; The Ink and Oil Tiger.
Using a square piece of paper and pencil, create a large, rounded square to fill the space. Add ears, nose, eyes and stripes. Using India Ink, paint your outline. Expect this to be very satisfying; the dark ink on white paper...ahhh!
Once dry, use oil pastels and colour your tiger and the background, pressing hard to get bold, bright results.
