Earth Week: Clay Charms/Pendants

 

Some projects bring everybody running to the table...

Working with clay usually covers several days; originally shaping your pieces, waiting for them to dry, painting and glazing or finishing. We created tiny pendants, secured small hoops in the top, with copper wire and allowed them to dry, before coming back to the table the next day for painting. The kids chose some botanicals or earth elements as their subject matter and then completed the pieces by edging in gold.
