Pollinators: Letter-Writing with Bees Wax Seal

 

Every once in a while, we set up a Letter-Writing Station which is always well-received by everyone. Leaving bits of paper, ink stamps, stickers, calligraphy pens, paints and this time in tune with our Unit Study, wax seals. You can write a friend or check out The World Needs More Love Letters, to see if a stranger needs a postal hug. These stations are great for older kids, to test out their cursive and calligraphy skills, younger kids to try all the tactical tools for writing, like stamps and stickers and the kids who are reluctant to write, but can easily draw or make a quick message and stick it in the mailbox.
