Pollinators: In the Garden

 

While the big kids were busy indoors, the littles were on field study; what attracts pollinators? We went out into the tea garden to create a Butterfly Bath amongst the blooms.

Butterfly Bath

~shallow dish

~smooth rocks or glass beads

~potted plants (or garden)

~half an orange/banana

Fill the tray with rocks. Tuck in half an orange and a potted plant. Cover the rocks with water. Set in garden space for pollinators.

Afterwards, we collected some chamomile for a tea party....
