Vegan Bites: Sesame & Oregano Lavosh
Harvesting hoards of oregano. First cut of the season calls for some cooking!
Super simple, light and crispy crackers. The dough is great for little kids as it is easily shaped and does not expand while baking.
~1c spelt flour
~1/2c whole wheat flour
~1t salt
~4T sesame seed
~1T oregano, dried
~1/4c oil (oregano-infused)
~1/2c water
Mix dry and wet separately. Divide dough into 4 balls. Divide each ball into 4 ropes.
Flour surface. Roll out into thin rustic crackers. Place on parchment. Brush (oregano-infused) olive oil with the back of a spoon and sprinkle on sea salt flakes. Bake at 320 for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
