Bushcraft: Watercolour Fire

 We used water to paint fire!

The younger set made Blow Paintings, using watercolour saturated drops and a straw for directing paint. First draw your base of sticks and logs. Then drip reds, oranges and yellows on top. Blow the drops with the straw and watch the flames burst willy nilly! You can complete the work with spattered sparks.

The older children created a campfire at night, with watercolour. You can add your spattered sparks and also a sky full of spattered stars...
