Five-in-a-Row: Mushroom Hunt (Children of the Forest)

Day Two of FIAR (Five in a Row) we headed to the forest to hunt for mushrooms. We brought sketchbooks along in case we wanted to work our journal muscles.

For those not interested in sketching, they photographed the different varieties.

We located at least 20 varieties in less than 5 acres. It's the perfect environment for mushrooms in Fall; dark, wet and wooded.
