Five-in-a-Row: The Wild Robot (Construction)

 

Next, we headed to the BSB (Beer Store Box) aka The Shop to construct Bit Bots; robots using bits and bolts.

Since we live on a second generation farm, we have tons of bits and bolts! The kids found some vintage upholstery tacks, bronze bolts, brassy screws and tons of dowel, branches and 2x2's for body construction. What they could not adhere with a hammer and screwdriver, they subbed in hot glue. And were very generous in the hot glue department!
